One of the most popular character meals at Walt Disney World Resort – Chef Mickey’s – is adding brunch to the menu starting May 31.
Reservations for the Chef Mickey’s brunch open on May 22 and the first seating will be available for Sunday, May 31. The hours for brunch will be from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
The brunch menu will include breakfast items plus soups, salads (antipasto, Caesar, Caprese, seafood, and more), Seafood Étouffée, barbecue ribs, and baked salmon. And yes, the famous (and delicious) Mickey Mouse waffles will also be on the menu.
Guests will also be able to enjoy the Contemporary bakery items and the ice cream bar during brunch.
Brunch – just like breakfast and dinner – will be one table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan. To make reservations visit the Disney Parks website or call 407-WDW-DINE starting May 22.
We’re expecting this to be a difficult ADR to book (just like any other day with Chef Mickey’s). Also, there’s no word yet as to whether this is a permanent change to the menu at Chef Mickey’s or if the brunch will only be around during the busy summer months. We’ll keep you posted.
Thanks to the Disney Food Blog for the news!
