Making Your Guest Room Merry and Bright

Holiday Magic

Decking the Halls for a Disney Holiday can help keep your vacation Merry and Bright by bring the warmth of your holiday home to the hotel room. Though if you’re not feeling the joy of packing a Christmas Tree in your suitcase, the Disney Florist is there to help.

Numerous other holiday delights can be set up for your resort arrival by the holiday elves working for Disney’s Enchanted Florist. You can choose special treats from floral bouquets, holiday baskets, mouse ears and stockings, to an all out in-room celebration package! A wide array of choices to make your room or villa sparkle and shine with all the magic of the season are available from our friends at the Walt Disney World Florist.

My favorite of this year’s options is called Mickey’s Sweet Celebration and includes a 30″ fresh pre-lit “tree”, carefully hand-crafted from a mix of holiday greens. Nestled in the fragrant greens you’ll find a variety of Disney ornaments and holiday treats. Classic Disney keepsake ornaments celebrate Mickey and Minnie skating, Minnie dancing in holiday attire, a festive Mickey holding a Christmas tree, and Goofy carrying a holiday tree. Plus you and your loved ones will also enjoy a yummy surprise from Minnie! Three pre-wrapped over-sized candy canes.

Disney Resort leaders welcome guests to decorate the interior of their rooms and villas during the holiday season, but ask that guests be sure to use safe decorations that will not damage the finishes of the rooms. Please remember that only the interior of rooms may be decorated and should not extend to balconies in order to preserve the unique thematic architecture that the Walt Disney World Resorts are famous for. DVC Members are reminded that this policy can be found in their condominium documents.
