When the Contemporary Resort opened in 1971, Fantasia Market was called The Spirit World. But it’s been recently renovated to offer plenty of groceries, sundries, and frozen meals for DVC members to purchase who have a full kitchen in their villa. You can find Fantasia Market on the 4th floor concourse.
So, what’s available? There’s frozen meals and frozen pizzas. There’s fresh bread, deli meat and other fixings for sandwiches. There are also lots of beverages, including tea and coffee supplies, and even whole gallons of water. There are also plenty of breakfast items and cereals to choose from, as well as fresh milk.
Sweet treats? There’s a whole freezer full of ice cream and other frozen treats. And candy? Well, there’s any kind of candy under the sun available at Fantasia Market.
Spirits are sold here as well. Beer, wine, wine coolers and other spirits are available. Celebrating? Then pick up a cigar or two as well.
If you’re feeling a little under the weather, Fantasia Market has plenty of over-the-counter medications available, as well as Band-Aids, sunscreen, batteries and other essentials for your trip. If you forgot your toothbrush, there are toiletries, beauty aids and more available here.
If you need something to read while lounging at the pool, there are magazines and newspapers available. If you bought a little more souvenirs than you planned on, there’s even luggage available here for your trip home.
A great plus: Fantasia Market doesn’t close ‘til 11 p.m., so it’s a great place to stop and fulfill your late-night cravings!
